Nancy A. 迈耶 was named Publisher and President of the Houston Chronicle in December 2021.

之前 to returning to Florida, she spearheaded a significant operational and digital transformation at the New Jersey Media Group, part of the USA Today Network that included The Record, NorthJersey.com, the Herald 新闻, (201) Magazine and a portfolio of more than 30 community publications.
Formerly, she held roles as Publisher and CEO of the Orlando Sentinel Media Group, Orlando, 佛罗里达州. and the Hartford Courant, Hartford, Conn. In 2015, the Orlando Sentinel was awarded A “Top Ten That Do It Right” by Editor and Publisher.
Previously, she was the Chief Revenue Officer of Advertising at CT1 Media, which included the Hartford Courant and WTIC-TV (Fox CT). While in this position, Nancy led the integration of the 新闻paper and television station advertising and digital operations, unlike any other in the country. She was promoted to that role from her former position as Director of Advertising and Strategy for the San Francisco Chronicle.
She speaks frequently to community and professional groups regarding the media industry, women in leadership and the transformation of traditional media to the digital platform.
Nancy is passionate about her involvement in the communities where she serves and has been active with many professional, industry and community organizations. She is currently a board member for the United Way Greater Houston and the BBB of Greater Houston Previously, she was a member of the Community Foundation of Broward, Florida Press Association, The Alliance of Greater Fort Lauderdale Board of Directors, Miami-Dade Beacon Council, President – The Miami Herald Charities and the Broward Workshop. She is a cancer survivor and has worked extensively with Susan G. 科曼.
迈耶 attended Bloomsburg University, Bloomsburg, PA and the University of Hartford in Hartford, CT, majoring in Education and Communication Studies. In addition, she has professional certificates from Northwestern University, Medill School of Journalism — NMC, and the American Press Institute for Advertising Leadership.
